Application Fields of HPMC

Characteristic of hydroxypropyl Methyl cellulose
1. The level of water retention is one of the most important indicators of the quality of HPMC, especially in the cement mortar and gypsum-based products for thin-layer construction.
2. Enhance the water retention, it can effectively prevent the phenomenon of rapid drying and insufficient hydration, which can cause a decrease in strength and cracking.
3. Strong bonding ability, good sag resistance.
4. Modified cellulose ether has an excellent thickening effect. Can provide better bond strength, fluidity, structural stability and workability to the material if added to the dry mortar.
5. In mortar with a high PH value, it has obvious promotion effect on fast dissolution, and usually can be completely dissolved in a few minutes.

6.Mortar with good flow-ability and suitable lead into air.
